For A Day in Her Shoes, mentorship is a key component. Having someone that has “been there, done that” is important as you break-in your new shoe. Your mentor will help you fine-tune your skills, check-in regularly, create industry opportunities, provide encouragement, demonstrate leadership, and connect you is critically important. When you register, if you are a seasoned in your career, consider being a mentor. If you are curious about a new profession or industry, consider being mentored. Throughout the event, we have created opportunities for you to meet and connect and throughout the year we will be checking in.

Not looking for a mentor but need a little encouragement and inspiration every now and again? We understand. When you register, check the mentorship box. We will match you with a mentor that fits your career level and will encourage you as well as inspire you.

“Sometimes, the best thing you can do is stop, breathe and focus on the positive. And if that doesn’t work, try a new pair of shoes.” – Unknown
